Inspired by Celine from Nyx Book Reviews,
I've decided to combine several weekly wrap-up memes into one post.
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga's Reviews, and Sunday Post is hosted at Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Letterbox Love is a special British book-haul meme hosted by Lindsey at Narratively Speaking.
Last Week:
Sunshine! :-D I've done a big spring clean, tidied up my office, and put a jug of yellow flowers on the desk. Now it really feels like summer!
Last week's posts:
Book Review - Any Other Name, by Emma Newman
Top Ten Books That Feature Travelling
Richard and Judy Book Club Reading Challenge - Sign Up
New Goodies:
The first books for the Richard & Judy Book Club Challenge (hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea), arrived for me to pick up at the library. Yay! Looking forward to this challenge. :-)
How has your week been? Doing anything fun in the sun? :-)

How has your week been? Doing anything fun in the sun? :-)
Oh yay! :) I actually don't have the Simon Mawer book yet - but since I'm trying to save up some money, I might have to try and borrow it.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing what you think :)
My library seems to have all the Rich&Judy reads, which is quite lucky :-) Really looking forward to the Mawer one actually, just in the mood for that kind of story I think!
DeleteI've heard of both of these books, but I haven't read them! Hope you have a great week!

Thanks Sandy! :-)
DeleteI haven't heard of these books before, I really like their titles. I'll have to look into them. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessie. :-) I found them through the Rich&Judy book club, but Alex Woods was the only one I was actually aware of before that. Looking forward to seeing what they're like!
DeleteI hope you enjoy the new books. :) Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteJenea @ Books Live Forever's Sunday's Post
Thanks Jenea! :-)
DeleteI got a copy of The Universe Versus Alex Woods at BEA last week--it looks good! Here's a look at all my books from BEA:

Wooo, BEA! :-D Lucky you! Hope you had a fantastic time. :-) Hehe, it does look good doesn't it?
DeleteThe Girl Who Feel From The Sky looks really good and I haven't heard of it before! I'm going to go scope it out on goodreads =) Nice haul!
ReplyDeleteEmily @ Falling For YA
Thanks Emily :-) It does look very intriguing!
DeleteNice book haul. We are still waiting for the sun and heat. It is cold and rainy again today. The only advantage of the weather is that it makes great reading time. Come see what I got at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteAww, hope you get some sun soon! You're right about the reading weather though, I love reading while it's raining and pattering against the windows, but you're warm and cosy inside. :-)
DeleteI've not heard of either of these. Both look interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy SS
Lots of the Rich&Judy books look interesting, worth having a look. :-)
DeleteThese look interesting and different. I always love seeing books that I hadn't heard of before. The covers are really different and interesting.
ReplyDeleteGrace
Yes I love that about the showcase sunday posts too! Always end up adding something to my TBR list. :-)
DeleteGood for you! My spring cleaning is going to end up as winter cleaning at the rate that I am going..LOL! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Aww, I feel like that sometimes. You could try listening to an audiobook while you clean. Great for keeping you going! :-)
DeleteI started a spring clean but I am now at the stage of having stuff everywhere. Argh!
ReplyDeleteOh no! The 'have to get messier before you can get tidier' stage is the worst! ^^
DeleteYay Richard and Judy reads! :)
ReplyDeleteCome at me Richard and Judy challenge, I'm ready for ya! :-D
DeleteI am curious about The Girl Who Fell from the Sky. We have been doing a room at a time and it feels good! Have a lovely week! The Sunday Post
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimba! :-)
DeleteI hadn't heard of those, but I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHere's Mine @ Pinkindle Reads & Reviews
