Showcase Sunday #7

Inspired by Celine from Nyx Book Reviews, I've decided to combine several book haul memes into one post. Welcome to... Stacking the Showcase Sunday Post Shelves with Letterbox Love!

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga's Reviews, and Sunday Post is hosted at Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Letterbox Love is a special British book-haul meme hosted by Lindsey at Narratively Speaking.

I've discovered a new site that's perfect for adding a bit of adorable to your day...

Does exactly what it sounds like - it posts a cute rabbit picture each day to bring a smile to your face. So now when I'm looking through my Google Reader, between the reviews and the author interviews, out pops a little bunny face to say hi!

  1. I'm looking forward to The Shining Girls, it's on my pile of books I want to read right now! Unfortunately there are too many books on that list to read them all right now. Kelley Armstrong is one of my favourite authors so hoped you enjoyed Bitten.

    1. My 'Read Right Now' pile is huge too! Makes it hard to choose doesn't it? I'm pretty excited about The Shining Girls - it has such an interesting concept.

I really enjoyed Bitten! It's the first Kelley Armstrong I've read, and I'll definitely be looking for more of hers now. :-)

    1. It's adorable isn't it? :-) I'm pretty excited about both these books, been anticipating The Shining Girls for a while now, and What Makes You Die just sounds so wacky and interesting!

  3. I really enjoy City of Bones back when I read it. And as much as you may have enjoyed it, just know each book gets better.

I know the next Infernal Devices book comes out in the next time, and I seriously can't wait to read it! Just wait till you get to the Infernal Devices books, because I think they're so much better than the Mortal Instruments ones.

    1. Ooh glad to know they get better, I thought the first one was a lot of fun. The Infernal Devices books are on my list of books to get to eventually! :-)

  9. Ah cute bunny! What Makes You Die sounds rather wild, lol. I've only read the first two Mortal Instruments books but I own the third, so I probably need to get around to reading that eventually. I fall in and out of love with the series when I think about it.
Have a great week and happy reading!

    1. Hehe, it does doesn't it? Looking forward to reading it. :-) I have series that I fall in and out of love with too, know what you mean. George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series is a bit like that for me. Sometimes I'm loving it and can't get enough, but at other times I kinda just want him to get on with it! xD

      Thanks! :-)

  10. YAY for cute bunnies of the day :D I think City of Bones was my fave in that series... now, I read it more to find out how things will end, but I'm not enjoying it as much anymore :(

Bitten is on my TBR, and I haven't even heard of the other books you read last week... sad but true!

    1. Aww that's a shame! I know what you mean about reading just to see how things will end. I did that with a sci-fi series that was boring me a bit, but I just HAD to know how they would solve their problem. 3 GIANT books later and it was the most pointless ending I'd ever read. >_< Hopefully the end to the Mortal Instruments series won't be like that though! :-)

Ooh you should definitely read Bitten, it's so good!
