Last Week:
Had a bit more of a relaxed week; John was off work, and we enjoyed the lovely weather at the beginning of the week. We tried a new cafe close to us, which was yummy, and I found The Eyre Affair in Oxfam! Been wanting to read this one for ages, so I'm pretty pleased with that find. :-)

DeleteOh, I've been wanting to read those Thursday Next books! Great find! And why is it we're often more excited about finding a good book (or one we've wanted for a long time) in a thrift shop, library sale, or used book store? I swear, I'm often more excited about those than about a book I bought brand-new.

Haha exactly! It's so weird isn't it? I think because it feels like an achievement, like you've found hidden treasure or something! XD Browsing charity shops for books is so much fun, and has the added bonus of giving money to a good cause too. :-)

I need to read Thursday Next too. Tried back in A level and couldn't get into it, sure I'd adore it now though.

I keep hearing really good things about the series, so have high hopes for it! :-) John's from the USA, though he's been in the UK for quite a long time now so he should pass the test easily... hopefully! :-D
