Inspired by Celine from Nyx Book Reviews, I've decided to combine several book haul memes into one post. Welcome to... Stacking the Showcase Sunday Post Shelves with Letterbox Love!
Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga's Reviews, and Sunday Post is hosted at Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Letterbox Love is a special British book-haul meme hosted by Lindsey at Narratively Speaking.

My First Giveaway!

Extra, Extra! Read All About Fantasyland!
I've been writing for a new site called Fantasyland Herald. This is basically a newspaper for a fictional land that represents the typical fantasy world. Through the news stories, opinion pieces, images and reports, you can get a sense of wider story arcs and a magical world.
There are recurring characters and regular reporters. The site updates daily so you can follow the story in real time. There's also plenty of palace gossip and fashion, bickering nobles in the Royal City, and disgruntled correspondents who resent being sent to foreign lands. There's even fantasy sport! It's a lot fun - come take a look!
Geek Girl looks awesome, I saw it when I was browsing NetGalley yesterday. Hope you enjoy it, and hope your other books are good too!

ReplyDeleteHere's my Showcase Sunday!
Hehe, I know the feeling - when everyone's talking about a book and you're not sure it's your kind of thing but it's got such good praise that you think you should give it a try anyway! Happened to me with a few books, but often you do end up being surprised, which is nice. :-)
DeleteThanks Kate! :-D

DeleteI read Iron King last year. I hear the rest of the series gets better with each book. Haven't read the other books yet though. One of these days lol. Thanks for stopping by today!
ReplyDeleteOh good! It's annoying when series go downhill from the first one, which can sometimes happen, though thankfully not very often! Hehe, I have quite a few series that I really need to finish too! :-)
DeleteAwesome haul and great update! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteYay for The Iron King! I really loved that book. I hope you'll continue reading the series. The Iron Queen (the third one) is soooo good.
